2005년 아일랜드 더블린에서 결성한 4인주 록밴드 이다. 정식앨범데뷔는 2007년 트웬티원 디맨즈(21
Demands)라는 이름으로 시작해서 2012년부터 현재의 이름으로 바꿔 활동 중이다. 대체로 멜로디가 풍성한 점이 밴드의 특징.

제2의 콜드플레이라 평을 받고 있다. 라이브 실력도 뛰어나고, 뮤직비디오는 영화같은 영상미와 이야기가 있는 것이 특징.

1집 정규앨범 In A Perfect World로 팬층 굳히고, 2집 Coming Up for Air 에선 다른분위기의 음악을 선보임.

John Legend

본명 John Roger Stephens 으로 Springfield, Ohio, U.S 에서 12월 28일,1978 출생하심. 그무엇도 혹하지 않는 '불혹'이 지나심. 직업이 많으시다. American singer, Record producer, activist, piano player, and actor. (다섯개나 되시네... 역시 전설형) 

1999, University of Pennsylvania 를  졸업하시더니 혼자 앨범 두개를 작업하심.. (his self-titled demo misic이라니). 심지어 Boston Consulting Group에서 mangement consultant로 병행하며 데모 작업해서 음반사에 열심히 보냄.. 흐... 길면 길수도 있지만 짧다면 짧은 기간만에 2001 Kanye West랑 작업(hook부분을 부름-훅이 어떤부분인지 설명할수가.. 없...)을 하게 된다. 칸예웨스트 레이블에서 활동하며 본인의 활동명stage name을 와후.. 시인 J. Ivy 이 존의 음악은 'old-school sound' 라며  "I heard your music and it reminds me of that music from the old school. You sound like one of the legends. As a matter of fact, that's what I'm going to call you from now on! I'm going to call you John Legend." 라고 부르기 시작하며 본인의 의지가 아니고 타인이 부르기 시작하면서 John Roger Stephens 가 아니고 John Legend 로 더 자주 불리게 되며, 그 이름으로 앞으로 이 이름으로 불려지기로(활동하기로) 마음을 먹는다!

데뷔 엘범은 Get Lifted 와 GOOD Music 을 2004년 12월에 낸다. Kanye West, Dave Tozer과 will.i.am과 작업하며 빌보드차트200에 7로 들어가게 된다. 어후.. 이후 행렬은 뭐 말하면 입아프고, 나열하자면 손아프다.

• All of Me -감미로움. 한방있음. 울적할때거나 울렁울렁. 멜랑꼴리할때 볼륨 빵빵하게 틀어놓고 들으면 위로받는 느낌임. Give your all to me . I'll give my all to you. 하앍하앍.. 나한테 해주는말 같아서 위로받음. 내가 하는거면.. 좀 슬픈가..?
• Someday - Someday~someday will be together~ Someday~someday willbe together점점 격양? 고조? 되어갈때 너무 좋아. 그리고 (미래의)어느날, 그날에 이런 느낌인데 끝이 someday-.. 이렇게 끝나는 느낌이라 슬픈듯 슬픈듯 여운있어 좋음. 

이건 뭐 그냥 대놓고 찬양인것같다. 

전설형님 노래가 좋은 이유는 사랑 노래라기보다는 뭔가 희노애락이 보임 .. 슬프기도 하고, 우울한것도 있지만, 대부분 마음을 만져주는 위로하는 음악이 많다. 내맘을 대변한다거나, 내맘을 다독여준다거나, 등등.. 흐.. 행님 쩐빵.

-사실.. . 노래 Preach 에 삘 받아서 이 곡 가사랑 느낌 쓸라고 게시물 쓰기시작했는데,

노래 좋은게 너무 많아서 Hot, Title 내지는 추천수 많은거 들어볼라고 한곡 두곡 담아듣기 시작하니 2시간이 훌쩍 지났네.... .. 그런 의미로다가, 전설횽아 노래 하나씩 해야지. 레전드 특집. 오늘은 가수특집. 뚜둔. 좋다.
